Memorial Day weekend

While many people headed out of town (church was SO empty on Sunday), we were here because I had to work early both Saturday and Monday mornings. My turn came up for both on the same weekend.

The boys had Friday and Monday off school, but JB still had work to do as well (no vacation days for his job as a loan officer or as a bishop amiright) so it was hard on the kids...and a foreshadowing of what the summer could look like. No school, lots of fighting. #prayers

Anyway, we still tried to do some fun things.  JB took them all hiking Friday morning in Bell Canyon and sent me these pictures.

They didn't go too far because it got steep, and there were worries about those little legs.

Then on Saturday, our dear friends the Peters invited us for bowling, pizza and games.

And on Monday, JB took the three older boys to see Solo: A Star Wars Story during nap time/quiet time for me and the two youngest.

He is a very fun dad.
