Escalante water play

We got some water play in over the weekend. A little at Wide Hollow Reservoir before it got too windy and smoky, and also at a neighbor's pond below the property.

Andrew had a turn for an adventure. He was on one of those blue floaties, and drifted over into the corner of the pond, when a group of cows came down the hill for a drink. One with horns stuck her nose right into the water next to him, and he jumped right off the floatie and started doggy paddling back to us. I didn't see him until I heard his little voice coming from the weeds and reeds. He said he felt fine because he had a life jacket, but did NOT like that cow.

And it reminds me of 5 years ago from Bear Lake when they fit more easily together on my lap.

The weekend went so fast, and I can't wait to go back. The rest of this week has dragged being back at home and work.
