I'm a really famous race car!

We apparently can't get enough of watching "Cars" on DVD. We like to watch the music videos on YouTube as well.

I had hooked up my new iphone. It's from work. It's supposed to have cool apps to help radio reporters. I'm still learning. In the picture I'm trying to figure out itunes to put some "Cars" music on the phone.

I know, I'm so weird. I don't know how to work itunes and I don't have an ipod. Well, JB has one that his boss gave us a few years ago but we haven't used it much. I have a feeling it could change my life if I'd only stop listening to newstalk radio, and take the time to learn some new technology.

I do like music. I watch "Glee."

Max's special day

Max's preschool honors every child with their own special day. On his he got to wear a special crown, and Benny came to spend the day at school too. They both LOVED it.

On his Celebrate Max Day he got to pick the songs and books and things. Max has the best teachers who are so patient and sweet with him.

Big fans

Our neighbors' son graduated from the University of Utah last week and they had a barbque for him. They are such great neighbors, and have often given us toys and books that their kids have grown out of. But they still have plenty in their home and backyard for our boys to play with, including a red wagon and lots of cars that captured Benny's attention at the barbque:

Look what captured JB's attention at the barbque:

I found this photo when looking through the camera and it made me laugh. Cute JB. Such a Ute.

Soccer ends

Here Max is with his team holding their trophies after Saturday's last game.

Benny proudly sees Max and cousin Emily's trophies. Later he grabbed at it.

Max scored a goal on Saturday! His first one. We clapped and cheered but he scowled at us. He did the same thing one Sunday when the primary children went up to sing in front. "I don't like you smiling so much at me, mom!" he said. Humble.

We are now talking with scouts and agents to see if Max should do flag football, T-ball, or swimming next.

Buzzed

A couple of weeks ago we buzzed the boys' hair again and I'm finally posting pictures. With our boys, it's just easier to go from long and shaggy to very short. In between either takes money at a barber shop or lots of talent and patience on our end.

We gave Max a mohawk to see what he thought.

Doesn't he look kind of scary? He was not happy with us. Probably because we kept giggling.

Benny and Daddy got buzzed too, and now they all match again.

Rub a dub dub

I dropped my phone in the tub.

Serves me right for trying to multitask while the boys were bathing. In my defense, they really like tub time and I can get bored waiting for them to wrinkle up and get cold enough to come out! I have some of my best conversations with my mom and sister in the bathroom. But, they do usually hear me say "Hold that thought. Benny! Don't splash your brother. Max! Don't slide down the side again!"

So, anyway, sorry if I've missed your calls or texts. My phone died a slow death overnight. It buzzed and wheezed and coughed and choked until midnight.
